Finn finally graduates high school, only to be violently thrown into the depths of adulthood. With no support system to help him navigate the world, his autism becomes a towering obstacle in every daily endeavor. Finding a job was hard enough; finding any real comfort in this new life proves even harder. He clings to fragments of his old routine, burying himself in books--as always--to shield himself from the anxiety of independence. However--for the first time--he finds someone who draws him into the real world, fighting against his deep-seated urge to disappear from it. Despite it being new and intimidating, he allows his own curiosity to pull him in further. After years of longing to be 'normal' and self-induced isolation, he pushes himself to reach out. ----------------------------------------------------- Draft, but will be finished. Hoping to edit, revise, and self publish when completed :) any feedback helps

Elle Marie has always seen the world differently - in shades, tones, and music notes no one else could quite understand. Diagnosed with autism at a young age, she found comfort in singing and drawing, pouring her heart into every colored pencil stroke and melody. Supported by her loving parents, Elle dreams of sharing her art with the world. But when the people she admires most - her eldest cousin and his musician girlfriend - ridicule her drawings and voice, her colorful world begins to fade to gray. Can Elle find the courage to paint her dreams again? Or will the cruel words of those she trusted silence her forever?

Panggil saja aku Alina. Sejak kecil, aku selalu merasa sedikit "berbeda". Di kelas, aku sulit bersosialisasi. Misalnya jika ada sekelompok orang berbicara, aku agak bingung kapan aku berbicara. Mereka saling memotong pembicaraan tapi kalo terlalu sering memotong pembicaraan, dianggap tidak sopan. Jadi aku biasanya diam, mendengarkan dulu. Bagaimana aku akan membicarakan soal Asperger ini kepada teman-teman... atau kepada gebetanku? Hehe
