Cat is starting to talk about Queen again, about another big 'no-no', her favourite song. So I catch a single title in the air "...Bohemian Rhapsody..." and in an atempt to cut her I blur "Cacophony Symphony?!" She narrows her eyes at me, and I'm about to laught when I hear a deep chuckle a few seats to my right, and when I look at the source, the most beautiful stormy grey eyes I ever saw are staring back at me with mirth. I avert my eyes as fast as I can and ignore my surroundings, the split second I looked at him I was lost in his eyes, it never happened before. It wasnt love at first sight or any of that crap. It was his eyes, all those shades of swirled grey reminded me of a storm in the ocean. Just beautiful and ruthless. Living in a small town in the southern coast of Spain, Ariana will fall in love for the first time and deny it, fight it. While strugling with her life and herself. Unrequited love sucks.

Fragments, in french and english, sometimes in other languages, of existence, of meetings and so, real in the beginning, then mostly fictive.

After the loss of her beloved puppy, Noel, Maria decides to erect an entire pathfoot until the grave of her sweet Noel. Every day, the young one visits him habitually, fixing with cure flowers and pinwheels. But in a random day, quite like magic, her beloved puppy appears before her, visiting her each time that Maria came in that place. So, magically, Noel will start to talk to her... something impossible for a terrestrial puppy! Both will weave a dialogue more and more intense, advising her human on how to face uncertainties and fears that life implies. Slowly, the girl will understand, thanks to his angel with four paws, the true meaning of existence and especially of the death into life. A semi-autobiographical story, inspired by a true story, that narrates of the unconditional love beyond the afterlife, of the transformation of grief in life. An illustrated story for the ones who had lost their own furry friend and wants to find them again among these pages, in this dialogue of pure loyalty.

Doesn't it get boring? Watching people as they express their happiness, their love, their understanding. How can I not be like them? I mean I could if I wanted, but why would I want to feel nothing and everything at the same time?

Questo racconto autobiografico nasce con l'intento di rendere omaggio ad una grande persona scomparsa a causa di una grave malattia circa 5 anni fa: mia zia Arianna. Le vicende qui narrate sono sempre messe in relazione al modo in cui io stesso le ho vissute, in modo da rendervi partecipi delle emozioni da me provate durante questo periodo che, seppur sofferente, ha contribuito a formare la mia persona. Mi auguro vivamente che la lettura di questa storia lasci un ricordo piacevole; del resto, scriverlo è stato per me immensamente liberatorio.
