Our previous two SmackDowns were both massive successes, and it's high time for another. You might remember the last one was heavy on the "game" elements, maybe even too heavy. This time we're going back to the basics and keeping it simple. It's just a motherfuckin' sci-fi SmackDown: a heated writing contest where contestants are given text-, music- and visual-based prompts, and then they need to write a short story around that, following which they're judged for their efforts and either move on to the next round or they get eliminated from the competition. But there's gotta be some kind of twist, right? For this one we're waxing nostalgic, we're looking back into our past. We're going back to our roots.

Most people overcomplicate the idea of cooking from scratch. My goal is to show everyone how simple it can be. I'm not a chef or a stay at home mom. I'm actually a working single mom. My finances are tight and time limited. Remembering a large and obscure grocery list is out of the question. My recipes are kept simple and I would like to share them with you.
