A error in the system, a problem, something that's not suppose to happen. Chara was just like any other Chara(s) in the universe before her, abused and died because of buttercup and so now following another fallen human as a ghost, however, when she figured out what was happening, she wanted to turn the story around. The human named 'Frisk' abuses their power as a human with determination soul, sure they're carious and can't really blame them for being that way but Chara seeing their family and people make it to the surface just to be back down in the underground the next second after a reset is not pleasing, but she know she can do nothing to stop Frisk so she decided to wait until they're bored enough to just let it go. The unthinkable happened next, the human started to kill the monsters and Chara's families because of 'Curiosity'. It was nothing like what she felt before, for every monster the human killed Chara felt a feeling that she couldn't describe but came to known, it was 'Anger'. The genocide went on, killing every last monster beings there are until Chara had gain control for the first time and she took the chance to press the Reset button, but things didn't go the way she had hoped it would. The reset failed and Chara now is cast out by her own universe, she have arrived at her new home...The Void.

The University President is also someone that you never thought you would've-nor even wished to-meet one day. Another thing to note is that I don't know what a University does and doesn't have, so you could be picturing a Hotel with my descriptions. The storyline might not make sense, sorry. (It IS a wip at the moment but the title is actually Work in Progress lol) Someone did something and got something, but then something happened and he couldn't do that something anymore until something did something which gave him something. It's a wip, don't at me. Yin Yashamato worked as one of many authors for a relatively small bookstore company. The thing is, with him, he always lost inspiration halfway through his writings. The only few he's actually finished was when he first started writing, and they were just amateur works- something he put his heart into when he had all the inspiration a young, naive writer has. But now he's 34 and hasn't finished a book since he was in his 20's. It's not his fault, he honestly can't think of anything else to add to them. He's tried to just work his way through the plot but it all ends up good in the beginning and rushed in the end. On a typical day, he called his boss to tell him that he would need more time to work on his book. It just wasn't working out with the deadline. Sadly, before he could even press the call button, he died... By what, you may ask? It's unknown, he just collapsed. Some say he overworked himself, but some deny that claim saying he always slacked off in his writing. His funeral was only held for close friends, and only his few books remained in the world. And then he got a system.
