That is, until Gandalf the Gray arrives at her house looking for someone to share in an adventure. When thirteen dwarves show up at her doorstep, she stupidly agrees to go with them to reclaim their homeland. Thorin Oakenshield, the moody and brooding Dwarven king, has managed to capture the unwanted affections of the Company's burglar. But one thing nobody knows is that their burglar, 'Bilbo' Baggins, is really a woman.

The journey itself has been going well, but through his adventures, what happens when he starts falling for Thorin himself? Light smut and lots of fluff be warned! Yeah. Hobbit fanfictions, yay! The characters are semi-based on the movies, and the books. They are the dwarves and lovely Martin Freeman Bilbo from the movies. I read the book, and it has been awhile since the movies, so I'm also a little shaky on some things? Correct me if anything is wrong. Idk. Have fun reading! This will probably all be Bagginshield. I totally ship Bagginshield! I don't have any other ships in the series, though. Maybe I will write some things that are more normal day, not relationship-involved things? Idk. Can't promise tons of updates. These one-shots have absolutely no correlation with each other whatsoever, besides the characters and mission to Smaug, journey of life afterwards, or, unlikely, an occasional AU instead, which I'm not that interested in. Bilbo was away from the Shire and Bag End running an errand that Gandalf sent him on, so he had to leave his husband, Thorin, his young cousin Frodo, and the other Dwarves for week and a half. However, when he came back, he was horrified to find that Thorin was different. He was no longer the caring and kind husband and king he fell for. Now, he was cold, angry, and almost downright heartless. He, along with the other dwarves fears the worst for their king. Has his gold sickness returned to reclaim him, or is it something else worse entirely, and best of all, can Bilbo get his loving husband back?

Hi so I'm writing this on Ao3 and I'm posting it here bcs why not ?

Based on the song 'The Thief' by Relient K. In which my OTPs fight to keep out the dirty hands of thieves.

Each one is but a short story thats part of a bigger one. All will one day make sense.

Modern AU Crack/Humor/Fluff - Bilba and Thorin get into a fight and, as they are both prideful and stubborn, neither one can quite bring themselves to simply admit to their part and apologize. Bilba finally has enough of the stalemate and decides the most brilliant and epic solution ever would be to kidnap Thorin and lock him in the basement until he gives in, admits it was all his fault and begs for her forgiveness . It's possible she might have been a WEE bit drunk when she came up with, and executed, this plan. Of course now that she's done it she can't back down. That would be like admitting Thorin was right...somehow. She's not quite as firm on that point but what IS clear is Thorin looks far to smug for a kidnap victim which means she is certainly not admitting her plan was not the most epic and well thought out plan in the history of epic and well thought out plans. Even when she realizes Frerin might have been a witness meaning she has to kidnap him too...and Dwalin shows up acting all suspicious so of COURSE she has to kidnap him........ There just MAY have been one...or two TINY flaws in her plan after all but that doesn't mean it wasn't still epic! Thorin will rue the day he crossed her!

This is the second movie of the trilogy and Book 2. As the company of Thorin Oakenshield and the girls continue you on their journey, they will experience new challenges. They will have to learn how to trust one another and others as they continue travelling to the Lonely Mountain. Will they be able to handle the pressure of getting to the Lonely Mountain before Durin's Day or will it all be in vain? As always, I don't own the hobbit. That belongs to JRR Tolkien and Peter Jackson. I merely own Renee, Lilith, Katherine, Renee's heritage and parents. Please if you haven't read A True Home, please read that first before reading this.
