This is my first book, and it's an Outer Banks fanfiction :) All the characters are original from outerbanks, except for one character: gracelyn baker. She's half Kook, half Pogue. Her father lives on Figure Eight with his new girlfriend and her son, while Gracelyn lives in the Cut with her alcoholic mother. Barry Allen was awkward. That you knew. If it wasn't for the quick remarks he makes, or the adorable faces he pulls when he's concentrating, or the bad habit of spitting things out when he's not supposed to, you might have just remained good friends. He loves you, and you love him, but what's stopping that love from forming a bond? You've got a bad habit of altering people's emotions, making them feel whatever you want them to feel with just a swish of your hand, and you're not sure if he's truly feeling what he thinks he is. There's something awfully wrong between you and Barry, and you want to fix it before your love runs away - literally. There's only so much time that can be spared to decide, and you want to know now.
