His dad walked out on him when he was 10, which his mum blames him for and drinks heavily as a result of this. He has a half brother, called Matty (Matty's father is now in prison). His mother's alcoholism effects his behaviour at both school and out on the street. The law is beginning to catch up with him and he's doing everything in his power to stop it.
