What if, on a mission, the criminal Red Hood was shot? What if he accidentally used the wrong zeta tube and ended up in Mount Justice instead of the Batcave? How would the team, and more importantly his brothers, react? And what if Batman finally decided it was time?

Damian Al Ghul has been sent on a mission by his mother, Talia Al Ghul in order to prove his worth to her and his grandfather as a suitable heir to their family. Damian has been raised as an assassin but quickly realizes he doesn't want to become a killer. Whilst on his mission, he runs away and boards any transport he can find. He soon discovers he's stranded in Gotham City with nowhere to go, unaware he's caught the eye of Gotham's most fierce protector. *note*: this fanfiction doesn't follow everything canonically. For example: Damian intentionally has blue eyes in this fic instead of green purely for plot purposes. This fanfiction was inspired by the song 'I'll be good' by Jaymes Young. What would happen if The Redhood met young justice? I genuinely want to know, this will be about what happens when they meet. I do not own redhood or young justice (sadly) but I did make up some of the storyline.

The Batbros are all in high school together. That's right, Damian, Tim, Jason, and Dick are all in the same school together and it's fun. They're all too smart to be in their grades but they can't let the government figure out their secret vigilante side job. School and heroism is hard but that's why you have friends. (Ages and grades go like this: Dick: 18 and Senior, Jason: 17 Junior, Tim: 16 Sophomore, Damian: 14 Freshmen.)

Bruce opened his eyes and after a moment of blurry images he saw blood all over the floor. Panic set in as his mind raced to figure out where it came from. He turned in circles but stopped suddenly when he saw a limp figure on a bloody pile near a corner, looking like they were half alive. After a second, he came to the horrifying realization that it wasn't just someone but his sidekick. "Oscar!" Bruce yelled as he hurried over to him. "Oscar what happened?" He reaches for the boy but to his surprise the boy jerked away from him viciously and tried pathetically to crawl away. "Don't touch me." Oscar rasped out. Bruce reached for him again, not wanting the boy to just die from being stubborn. When he flipped Oscar over despite useless and weak retaliation Bruce physically leaned back. The boy's face was all but a mush of blood, bruises, and swelling. He couldn't even see his eyes from how swelled he was. To his surprise Oscar threw a punch and it landed on Bruce's cheek bone. It stung but wasn't strong enough to be anything but a distraction. When he looked back Oscar was crawling away, his legs looking like they were heavily twisted or even broken. Then, as Bruce looked down he saw blood covering his fists. It didn't take long to piece together. The two were alone. Bruce did this to him.

I've scoured every nook and cranny of Wattpad and AO3 for the specific type of BatFam Fanific that I want, and it's either too short, terrible grammar, or doesn't exist. Sometimes, to do something right, you've gotta do it yourself. Be the change you wanna see in the world and all that stuff. Welcome to my first BatFam story. This is gonna be a SelinaxBruce fic, but it focuses on her and the Robins. No OCs, just Selina with the BatKids. I'm thinking of maybe 5 chapters for this one. One for each batboy (sorry, but I have a hard time writing for the girls) and then one with Bruce and her at the end. We'll see what I actually end up writing. Enjoy!
