This is a rewrite of A Chance To Trust, in progress. Little Danny Fenton got his powers at a remarkably young age at the cost of his family, the GIW get him soon after. A few years later Danny is 9 and still suffering at the hands of the Guys In White, until a certain Bat comes and rescues him. Now Bruce has to deal with a young terrified mislabeled metahuman who is a lot stronger than he looks and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what anyone is feeling. The GIW, on the other hand, can't let their lab rat heal and save the Ghost Zone they've been working so hard to take over. Things just got a little more spooky in Wayne Manor.
