Growing wings sucked. Tommy was the only person besides Phil to know that. It especially sucked when you were in exile alone with no potions to help you. Tommy knew that leaving was a stupid idea but it was either that or getting his newly grown wings chopped off by Dream, and he would rather die then let that happen.
