"For most of my life, I've been invisible." "I see you." -*- Melissa Turner is a just turned sixteen year old starting her last year of high school somewhere new. And how else to start the year than with a makeover. She never felt seen at her old school and she thought it would be the same here at Blateswell Academy, but as soon as she steps off the bus and takes her first steps into her new life she knows something is different even though after her makeover she still feels the same - plain and invisible. She doesn't know it yet but she is far from plain and in no way invisible. Not at Blateswell. People start to notice her. Really notice her. They remember her name and say hello to her when she walks by, nothing like what she was used to in the past. She doesn't know why and for a while she just goes with it, hiding her real feelings within. That is until some boys take an interest in her.

Over worked, trudging through endless case law. Law school was NOT what I expected. Life at university isn't as fun and glamorous as people make it out to be, take it from me! I'm lottie. And my journey through university certainly wasn't easy. But it definitely makes for a good laugh. My life was good, I had free time to relax and hang out with my friends, I had people waiting on my hand and foot, until I moved to Oxford and decided to live independently. Not a great idea for someone who doesn't know how an oven works!

She grew up to very beautiful but very doll-like: monotonous, dull and without feeling. The townsfolk calls her the cursed beauty. Then, one fateful winter evening, she met a young man. An artist whose eyes shone with life, who wanted to explore the world, to meet every kinds of people, for what he found most beautiful was human emotions. How exquisite anger can be, how chaotic. How love can be so powerful that it can move mountains. But she didn't understand any of this. One could say they were the complete opposites. So, the young man decided to take her along with him, determined to show her the wonders of the world, to make her see the beauty of people. Most of all, he was determined to make her live.
