Some people may not know what a Maldivian local may live like. But a Maldivian sure would! This book is about not just one Maldivian's story, but the story of several others. There will be tales of moving from island to island; ferry-rides, walking down unpaved roads, catching crickets, reading books, making friends and spending time with family and learning to pray for the first time as well as other regular and somewhat nostalgic walks down memory lane.

welcome... This book is gonna be talkin about some deep shit and it's kind of like a public diary for me so if your gonna be rude keep your mouth shut thx.

This writing is a message letting people know it's ok not to be normal or fit it. It hopefully encourages readers to find them true selves and live life with their own rules not caring about the judgment that may come with being them. We all should set ourselves free from the shackles of society and obtain ultimate freedom.

"Dear Adrian, Today, I stood in the rain and thought about the way that time moves. I thought about my mother. I thought about the fact that, objectively, three months is not a long time for someone to be gone. Sometimes, I look back at this however-many-days that it's been and think "wow, this has felt like years." And other times, I wonder where the minutes and weeks and hours and months have gone. Some days are harder than others, because on some days I get stuck in my head and wonder if I'll ever get out. Today has been one of those days so far, but its only 11:30am."
