Clarke Griffin and Octavia Blake come from very different backgrounds, but that doesn't make them any less of friends. The way they see it, they're both prisoners and thank god they were, otherwise they would of never met. The day Octavia Blake was caught and imprisoned was the day Clarke Griffin watched her father get floated and then also be imprisoned for knowing a secret. When they're both put in the same cell, they realise that they really aren't that different. Octavia was put in prison for being born, Clarke was put in prison for knowing something she wasn't supposed to. They are both there because of things they can't control. When they get sent to the ground everything changes for them, well except their friendship. That's the one good thing in their lives and they'll be dammed if they ever let their bond as bestfriends brake. Octavia makes Clarke a little wild and Clarke makes Octavia a little wise.
