But that all changes when Benny invites them over to play baseball with his group of friends at a sandlot. Attempting to fit in, Kimberly and Scotty end up joining them, and soon becomes companions with them. Kimberly Smalls was a quiet, petite girl who hated when her family moved into the Valley. Her face just never shown it. But now that she's making new friends with her younger brother along the way, she comes across a boy who will soon become the love of her life. Benny Rodriguez never cared for girls in his time. He only cared for baseball, his family, and mostly his friends. But when Kimberly's in the situation, he tries his best to win over her heart before anyone else could. After a year of living in California Izabella works up enough courage to play with the "Sandlot Crew." They were a dream in her head but the game became a reality.

so yes I know there aren't many x readers but like... I already write two pages of this on notebook paper during school, though this won't be as close to the original chapter 1 (and 2) I wrote at school, it'll be somewhere close to there. This'll also be set in 2019 time period, so it's easier for me to write it. Though I'ma try to stick with the original story line as much as possible. They're in highschool, mostly freshman year. 14-15. --------------------------- Halo wasn't always their name. They just go by Halo because they like the name and it's gender neutral. But, for the sake of this story, you can know who they are before anyone else does. we don't want this to be the cliche "so and so wasn't your average blah blah blah", but Carmen was... something. she didn't consider her self average, not unaverage. One thing she did know is that she thought she wouldn't ever trust relationships again, or ever love, especially be loved, again. Boy, how wrong 'she' was. Halo, being known as that, for their family it's Carmen, was a Non-Binary pansexual, it did confuse people but they couldn't care less. Halo tried to stay reclusive, but their social instincts always kicked in when around people, they were a social butterfly, well used to way back when. Halo was someone to talk alot, they were there for you to rant, talk about random stuff, cry and joke with. Carmen honestly didn't think "she'd" see love or be in a relationship again until she met Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez. He was a very attractive, good looking, hot boy for his age. She was.. love struck. Though she did get swayed easily, one if the reasons she tried to stay away from people. Introducing herself as Halo, and for the most part not making it obviously whether Halo was a girl or a boy, the only way they could figure it out was by voice, structure, and chest size, she could never hide that part even if she wore her huge hoodie.
