However, the Resistance members, especially Finn and Poe, are having a hard time believing that Ben is truly on their side and has redeemed himself. Meanwhile, Ben and Rey begin a passionate relationship that is as meant to be as it is complex. Will Ben and Rey be able to maintain their loving relationship as the war drags on? this is a post- starwars: the rise of skywalker AU because I can get over the ending so I decided to write a story of I would want to see happen. 15 years had passed since the defeat of emporer palpatine, the first and final order, the death of general leia, and the death of supreme leader kylo ren. Rey became known for defeating palpatine and kylo ren and soon went to train a new jedi order, but trained to use both sides of the force, Rey also had a child named raven, literaly no one knows who the father is or was. Poe dameron and finn dameron were officialy given the rank of general, Rose tico was also given the rank of commander, the resistance is still together trying to fix the damage that the empire and final order had done. former general hux of the final order was found nearly dead, but after having saved poe, finn, and chewie, they elected to go ahead and save him, Hux is now working as a resistance pilot to get rid of the rest of the final order.

In the weeks after the Battle of Exegol, Rey Skywalker has taken on Finn as a Padawan while Poe leads the Resistance in trying to finish off the First Order. Rey comes to learn that Ben Solo may not be dead after all, but trapped in a mysterious dimension called the World Between Worlds. Rey is determined to bring him back to the physical world, but Ben has plenty of plans for rescuing more than just himself--and he needs Rey's help.

Ben Solo returns. Kylo Ren is dead. In the movie, redemption is short-lived, but you will find in this rendition, that it is quite drawn out. Rey will not allow the death of her dyad. The first episode of a Star Wars Epilogue Trilogy fan-fiction. 5 years after The Rise of Skywalker, Rey Skywalker meets a mysterious Jedi with a revelation that will change the course of Galactic History. She goes on an adventure with this young man to discover the secrets of her dyad bond with the late Ben Solo, with hopes of preventing an oncoming apocalypse from a force of evil in the Unknown Regions unlike anything the galaxy has ever seen.

I wrote this in a notebook while crying in a submarine. I have been mentally scarred since the end of Rise of Skywalker and this is my way of coping.

Rey Palpatine is the Supreme Leader of the First Order. She seeks to bring destruction to the galaxy and power to her name.
