Just some random thoughts I had about life and progression. Gandhi is one of my favorite people, which explains the title, but the story applies to anyone who helped people believe that the world doesn't end today, that we have challenges to help us grow stronger and to be the best that we can be. Please leave any feedback, questions, and suggestions you may have in the comments section. Thank you! #gandhi #Jesus #BetheChange #Alonelylightinadarkworld #helpeople #deepthought #treatothersasyouwouldliketobetreated #yourdayisnottheworstday #help #peace

According to @unicef , India has the highest absolute number of Child #brides in the world- 15,509,000! While the number is down by 51% since 2000( According to an article in @economictimes), States of Bihar, Rajasthan and West Bengal still remain hubs of this #social #evil. Deeply rooted cultural norms and lack of education are some of the reasons for the prevalence of this practice. Educating daughters is not seen as a priority. Parents would rather save money for dowry than invest in their child's education. #TrueStory Adolescents, both boys and girls, need to be empowered and educated. There's a need to make them feel strong enough and SAFE enough to stand up against it. India is working towards eliminating child, early and forced marriage by 2030. We would love for you to be a part of this initiative in your own little way- educate your drivers and house help, tell them that it's both morally and legally wrong. Save the girl child from all the horrific sexual, psychological and physical trauma that comes with early marriage.

Sometimes we got to ask ourselves some questions. How do we stand true with love and live a life of correction? It's up to everyone to make this correction, let's take it slow, section by section. There is so much left to know, so let's invite Divine Intervention. True love is a gift, from something up above. It shines so bright and its always more than enough. It fills your heart with truth, makes you tough so remove the cuff. You will never fully understand, so don't try to define it with your mind. Just stand aside and accept it while disbelievers get left behind. Know in your soul that this Love is the Only One of its kind. Ask for forgiveness. Repent. Do it every day and live this in every situation. This is God's business, it's called Truth, Love, and Patience. Why else would He make this? It's a gift, so open your heart and accept the greatness! Every single person has a choice. Open your mind, free your soul, and listen for the Voice. When you feel it, you might not even hear a noise. Sometimes it speaks with silence. Drop the lies, the hate, gossip, and slander. It doesn't help anyone, listen to the Divine Commander. Rid this world of the violence, war is costly, and peace is always free. It just takes each of us to stand, don't you see, how happy we can all be? All you need to do is accept this in your heart. Feel love, live each day as a new start, each of us must play our part. The price has been paid with a blade, don't watch it fade. No sense in living life apart, truth in Love is the most beautiful kind of art. 9/7/17- J <3 "The only thing left to do, is what's right

Amara lived in a world that was run off of a book. So did the rest of her friends and family. The entire country ran off of this thick book of rules and plans, and nobody complained. Well, nobody except for Haitsly. Haitsly was always complaining about the government and the way it was run. She was always criticizing the things that the officers and people in power did. Amara believed differently. As Haitsly's best friend she would always listen to her and her thoughts on the subject, but she would always counteract with the good things that came from this system, like the age of prosperity they were living in and the leisurely lives they led. But this story is not about their leisurely lives. It is about how those lives were taken away. 《Original story, all characters are mine, a sequel might come out soon, I had to write this for school but I thought that some of you might enjoy it》

Parkshala is a Noida-based NGO dedicated to transforming lives of children who hail from the lower strata of the society. We work as an after-school support group to bridge the educational & moral gap between these children and their affluent peers. Further, we are trying to utilize already available resources for this purpose. So our lessons take place in community parks and halls. The schools our children go to lack basic amenities and quality education. Moreover, most of their peers at such schools are uninterested in education. So, our first and foremost focus is on academic growth and improvement. Academics: • Subjects that students find difficult like English and Chemistry are taught directly by our founder, Priya Gupta • We conduct regular tests to gain insight into problem areas. • Remedical classes our conducted during summer and winter vacations to bring weak students at par with others in their grade. • Improvement has been observed in grades at school, fluency in spoken English, overall confidence while asking questions, curiosity to know more.
