Sasuke is reunited with a dear friend he departed from five years ago, and feelings he had buried for years resurface. Byleth Eisner reunites with a friend who doesn't see him as a freak, but he struggles to understand the feelings of love. The house leaders-Dimitri, Claude, and Edelgard-unknowingly impact certain members of the Konoha transfers, changing their lives forever. With two continents, each possessing different cultures, decisions are made that will alter how their new and old friends view the world. This is a rewrite of my original story, "The Black Lion."

One day he finds he just can't take one more step and he collapses in a heap of sorrow of lost hope. Death inches closer and he finds that he isn't afraid. Two children without a family. Pushed aside by the only people that took them in. They are the only ones that can stop everything from falling apart. Old memories brought to the surface; shocking information that could very possibly bring about death; new powers unleashed and the definition of family forged from the jaws of despair.
