"The lines we draw to protect ourselves often become the walls that imprison us." [OUR WORLD] 🌸A Nigerian Teen Fiction🌸 16+ [BOOK THREE OF YUNG LIES SERIES] In our world, we're quick to judge people, not knowing what they've been through or who they really are. And often, the ones who judge the loudest are fighting their own battles in silence. Kester's cold and unapproachable demeanor mask a deep-seated pain, while Yasmine's polished facade conceals a suffocating relationship with Zayn Lawal, the school's golden boy and teen star. As Kester's tutor, Yasmine is tasked with helping him salvage his grades by the end of the academic session, but beneath Kester's tough exterior and academic struggles, Yasmine discovers a complex and broken soul that challenges her perceptions. She realizes she doesn't want to let Kester go, not because he's perfect, but because he's imperfectly real. She becomes torn between her loyalty to Zayn and her growing connection to her troubled student. However, when Zayn discovers that Yasmine is tutoring his arch-nemesis, Kester Martinez "the multiracial goat", he's furious. Their relationship becomes increasingly strained, and Yasmine finally finds the courage to leave him. But Zayn's not willing to let go, and this becomes a problem. This is a tale of self-discovery, relationships, and growth, set against the backdrop of Nigerian high school life. Explore the complexities of teenage life, where appearances often hide deeper truths. ONLY AVAILABLE ON MY WATTPAD ACCOUNT. IF FOUND ELSEWHERE IT MEANS IT HAS BEEN PLAGIARIZED, SO PLEASE DO INFORM ME IMMEDIATELY. Started - 3rd February, 2025. Ended - Status - Ongoing

SAFARI She's quiet, creative, and determined to make her mark-even if it means defying her parents' expectations. After years of pressure to choose a "real" career, she transfers out of state to major in art and design, with a minor in computer science just to keep the peace. Sophomore year is supposed to be her fresh start. But between late nights sketching, mounting deadlines, and the emotional scars from a recent breakup-where her ex told her he was the problem, not her-the weight starts to pile on fast. AMANI He's the face of the university's basketball team, a criminology major with a gift for observation and a near-photographic memory that helps him piece together details most people miss. But behind the highlights and headlines, he's still healing from a past relationship that left him nearly scarred by life-changing betrayal-one that forced him to question what's real and who he can trust. When their paths cross, neither is looking for anything but space to breathe. In the shared silence, in the late-night talks and moments of unexpected connection, something begins to grow. As they navigate heartbreak, identity, and the weight of expectations, they learn that sometimes love doesn't rescue you-it rebuilds you. ----------------------------- VERY FIRST BOOK! @sirakoze

I wrote this for a writing class that wanted me to write a scene from a movie. I chose Angie Thomas' The Hate U Give. It was an amazing book before it was an amazing movie. This is a very rough draft, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Rosalina Rodriguez has always braved the world on her own. She's been heartbroken, bullied, broken and abandoned so many times that she no longer expects anything from the world. So when she meets the man of her dreams, she immediately shuts herself off before he can mean too much to her - before he can damage her. Adonis Charming has always felt broken. But when Rosalina looks at him like she looks at the stars, he discovers that there are some things worth risking his life for. So, even if she may cause him a million heartbreaks, he decides to take the leap. This story has a happy ending. Or maybe it doesn't. Either way, at some point, you won't be able to tell which it is. As with all true love stories, theirs is a war: prepare to fight battle after battle with little to no hope of winning. Who knows? Maybe all the fighting will be worth it in the end.
