PRETTY EYES: A Southside Atlanta Story 📍 One night in the Southside changed Keyon Davis Jr.'s life forever. After thirty minutes of yelling at a locked door, he walked into a nightmare he could never unsee: his baby momma gone, and his daughter, Layla, shivering in a dark closet. Now, Keyon is trading his freedom for a two-year bid in DeKalb County Jail. He's not there to make friends or find trouble-he's there to survive and get home to the only girl who matters. But the "Rice Street" system has other plans. In the middle of the noise and the concrete, Keyon finds himself locked in with two men who see right through his "thug" exterior. One is a kingpin with the world at his feet, and the other is a quiet storm with secrets of his own. Between the cold bars and the heat of their gaze, Keyon is about to learn that love doesn't always come in pairs-and sometimes, the prettiest eyes are the ones that finally see your truth. One heart. Three men. Zero rules.

Kirishima Eijirou, best friend and classmate of Bakugou Katsuki, has been missing for a year. His abrupt return sparks new uncertainties (and feelings?) for the pair to navigate, amidst rekindled friendships, missing family, and of course, training to become the top heroes in all of Japan. (Premise inspired partly by "A Former Classmate," by Stupid_Brats1225, a story in which Kirishima disappears for a year.) Plot and writing are mine, any art is not. TW: Profanity ofc, mention of kidnapping, violence, discussion of mental health. Enjoy! #2 in blackcreator 7/27/23

SUMMARY When 19 year old Maesha with red eyes, brown skin and the whitest of hairs from the oldest purebred tribe called the ota ori's (now known as present day ebira) finds out she's not only the high school weirdo and college smart ass but a magical creature responsible for all of mankind, her life is once again spiraling out of control, she will have to take control of her own destiny and save the ones she loves. "The ancient tales pass down from generation to generation, scribed down into the memory of every ozi pàpà of the ebira tribe and recited during every eche ori festival as a mantra wasn't just a tale you see. But a prophecy disguised as a moon light tale told to every first born of each household in the mother tongue to keep shadow walkers away and listening witches from harming the prophesied child. It tells of a creature of old, a god some call it, others describe it as an entity, a being so old it existed even before mankind. Others like the Adavi, Nri, the old Maya people and the Aztec tribesmen believe and say the ancient one is an ethereal being in the form of a stag and not a child. This people saw it as exotic, powerful, serene yet dangerous and they weren't wrong. During the great reign of king Oz'uka, the ezi adobe with their phenomenal civilization decided to scribe down the prophesy and send it into another dimension for safe keep until the child was born." In a world where werewolves, gnome, demons, angels, gods other creatures as well as regular humans exist Chronicles of Enya is about a child with a much bigger destiny than she knows who will save mankind and other ethereal creatures from its darkest moment. Follow her journey as she discovers her new identity and embrace her destiny. Copyright©2018| All Rights Reserved

A man is disoriented. He doesn't remember why his car crashed or how he got to the strange house. He isn't certain why he's so afraid of the brothers, and how he can sense danger at every turn. Won't you listen to our friend's tale of woe and thrill? Perhaps you feel you don't need to, as you're too familiar with the original Negro folktale. This short story, however, has re-imagined that old tale and made it more current to the times and relevant to every Black man, woman, and person that will ever dare the highway at night.

Some places don't stay where they're supposed to be. Malik thought his nights were simple-work, drinks, late rides home, and a life he stopped taking seriously a long time ago. But one street changes everything. Peachtree Street. What starts as a normal night going home and it turned into something he can't explain. Time slips. Reality bends. Now Malik is trapped between what he believe are dreams... and a world that feels more real than his own. And the deeper he goes, the more he realizes- Peachtree Street isn't just a place. It's a threshold. And he was never meant to stay on one side.

In this anthology series, Nietzsche's Ubermensch comes to life. His hair is nappy, his nose is broad, and his complexion kissed by the sun. With a clap of her hands, she causes hurricanes. As her fingers snap, time slows. He can speak and create, and she can dream and destroy. The Superman is real, and they are an African. In this anthology series, we'll bear witness not to their epic exploits, but to the mundane melancholies of life in a world where Black kids can stop bullets, read minds, and fly. Welcome to the Afro-Future, today! Chapter 1: In "An Urban Legend Has It..." we meet Othello Richard Shannon, aka the super-speeding hero in a XXXL red hoodie, Dynamic! He didn't used to mind getting clowned in his civilian life since he has two A-One, Day-Ones that he can depend on to lift his spirits. But lately, this hero's been feeling like a third wheel. Chapter 2: In "The Stupendous Adventures of the Super Union" a team of superheroes gathers for the funeral of one of their own, Aspiration. Tensions run high as they discuss the impromptu sexual assault trial that led to Aspiration's death and the dismissal of one of their teammates. Chapter 3: In "Interrogation", young archivist Zaraz is asked to record and transcribe the interrogation of Regicide--the famous supervillain and archenemy of King Soul. The villain makes a lot of wild claims about King Soul's past, but surely they couldn't be true. Chapter 4: in "CRISIS of Faith" It wasn't easy for humanity to accept the existence of superhumans. But our narrator was lucky enough to be born in a time of peace between those with and those without powers. There are systems in place which help keep interactions running smoothly. That's the intention, at least.
