A poem I just came up with🤷🏾‍♀️

eve bowel was just a regular, oversharing girl with fried straight hair-until a ghetto spirit started possessing her every night, turning her into a curb-stomping menace. now her chaotic group of friends has to figure out how to save her before she fully becomes GHETTO EVE forever.

One thing that my momma always knew I was, is ambitious. I don't give up, I refuse to give up. Blessing and curse should I say. I want people to know the truth. Not just know it but take heed. I've always dreamed of marrying a white man. Not because I wanted kids with caramel skin and curly hair. But because I want to know that there are people other than blacks who believe in equality. Who believe that racial division is a fluke. Who believe that any size, shape, and color, we're all human. But at 20 years old, I never thought it would be this hard.

Everyone told her that a black ballet dancer can't make it. She's determined to prove them all wrong. Few ballet dancers of color are seen in the ballet world. Amanda loves to dance and wants her future to be filled with it. How will she make it to the top as a dancer of dark skin and exploding passion?

This book is brutal. It is not for the weak. It will offend you. It will question what you were taught. It will drag your pride and slap your excuses. But it will also show you the mirror - the one Africa has avoided for too long. If you are easily triggered, stop now. If you're ready to be reborn with fire and truth - keep reading. This isn't motivational. This is surgical.

This initially started off as a black female empowerment book. But due to certain events I've decided to "broaden my horizons" and open it up to everyone in the black community. Of course anyone is welcome to read it. I'm sure you'll find something in here that you agree with. But it will be kind of.. Lol tilted more towards blacks. Also remember it doesn't matter what corner of the world you are from. You're beautiful and if your heart is as open a your mind color shouldn't be an issue. -Jayla❤
