A collection of poems from a soft-spoken soul learning to speak louder than vulnerability. "Who I Am, In Pieces" explores the quiet battles of self-worth, identity, love, motherhood, anxiety, and healing. Each piece is a mirror reflecting growth, grief, grace, and the duality of strength and softness. For the ones who feel too much, say too little, and are tired of being misunderstood -- this is for you. These aren't just poem. They're pieces of a woman still becoming. P.S. You'll find many different versions of the same poem as I like to find different ways to express myself, my thoughts, and my words.

Butterflies need flowers to survive. It is in their nature to pull from these creatures to stipend their growth. As a butterfly, I find myself taking the essence of a flower to shape my being. This body of work was created to cultivate that healing and create a space where a butterfly earns wings. Notice how nectar can never be poisonous to a butterfly unless added. Every flower, every experience, every lesson is a way to grow and develop my character and relationship. Butterflies are beautiful creatures that go through a hard journey and then die peacefully. This is a work that throughout my life I have been pleased to watch grow. As I enter adulthood, I hope to grow the wings to continue this flight. I want to thank God, my friends, and my family for encouraging me to write this body of work. This is a real reflection of me and how I feel up to this point. Every experience strengthens your purpose and when your wings start to thin and fade away, every nutrient ingredient from flowers helps to keep you afloat. This is a reflective poetry work of loss, love, and the meaning of life and friendships guided by God. Above all, this is dedicated to my mom who encouraged me to keep going and to see life as a gift because every flower adds to your destiny.
