They say poetry is soft. This isn't soft. This is marrow. This is memory. This is the sound a woman makes when she refuses to die quietly. BROWNISH is a raw, unfiltered collection of musings in B-minor-where love letters are written in trembling ink, battle cries echo from childhood wounds, and resurrection songs rise from the ashes of shame, silence, and survival. Through the eyes of Andrea Tumblin-also known to readers as Ilianna Binoche/Novia Kane-this nonfiction poetry collection dares to speak what many only whisper: the ache of being misunderstood, the weight of generational pain, the fury of invisibility, and the holy rebellion of choosing to live anyway. These poems do not beg to be liked. They demand to be felt. If you've ever swallowed your truth to survive... If you've ever loved harder than you were loved back... If you've ever covered your eyes, ears, and mouth just to make it through another day... This book is your mirror. This book is your matchstick. Come for the love letters. Stay for the resurrection. Somewhere between brown and becoming- you will find yourself.

Take a scorching hot summer. Add a sexy houseguest who can't keep his hands, or his lips, to himself. Mix with four overly protective older brothers. Sprinkle an artistic, yet conniving crush. Result- a recipe for disaster.

I am a historian. I love history and discovering new people and event. History is important and a lot of the times certain history is left out in our school's curriculum because people don't want to admit these things happen. Living in a society where the history we learn are usually white men with only a handful of black people and woman. I am a White woman, trying my best to be an activist and wanting to bring these stories we don't know about to light.

It's been a month since the battle at N.E.A.T Labs; and for awhile Amherst seemed quiet and peaceful....for The Wonder Kids, that is. The end of their junior year is approaching and that is what's on their minds. However, it wasn't as quiet and peaceful as they'd presumed. Unbeknownst to them, an army was being prepared with their help needed, of course. After having a run-in with a certain person, they realize that in order to keep their safety and their other side hidden, they have to find and capture all of the remaining people affected by the Aurora Collider then bring them in. Seems easy, right? Not as easy when a familiar face returns. A familiar face that is, also, preparing an army to strike back at The Wonder Kids and cause another war. Now the teens have to figure out which side they should be on while also trying to save local students from going missing. All the while not really understanding who had the most power behind the chaos. The teens find themselves once again entering the Game of Survival. "We Are A Family." - The Wonder Kids Season Two: of The Wonder Kids
