18 yr old Lauren (Lo) Jones, has not always had it easy. She is the daughter of a single mother and an incarcerated father while helping raise her two younger sisters as she navigates through her last year of high. Growing up on the SouthSide of Georgia she has always had to balance life in the hood and the life she dreams of outside the walls of the projects. Everything was going just as planned until a old friend comes to town and turns her life upside down.

This is not an actual story. I'm just using Wattpad to create a blog because I couldn't find any good apps. So.....yea. Did I mention I was a feminist?

This poem reveals to you all racism and it's uselessness in our present generation. The African culture and the beauty of it descendant are also major theme, it cuts across the end to racism and a beginning to racial equality and peace.

These poems are kind of simple and short, but I see it as an art of creativity that's been influenced by music, love, and social issues all within the black community. I hope you guys enjoy!

This seems to be a big problem and a daily occurrence with the world today. We are slowly being brainwashed to believe what they want us to believe, see things they want you to see, hear things they want you to hear. Slowly changing your perspectives, the way you view yourself, people and the environment around you. They paint false images of what perfection looks like, you know the fast cars, nice houses, Rolexes, etc. for the ladies, they've redefined perfection to be slim waist, big bosoms, fleece make up and so on, creating a problem of most of them not truly knowing and appreciating self worth. They don't even see themselves as perfect until they acquire these qualities. The media would also falsify stories by adding a little bit of salt to it in order to boost their ratings. You know, how we all add a little bit of lie to our stories when we tell friends who don't seem to be interested, just so we can get their attention? This has been going on for decades. People dying all around the world, storied that should be constantly aired in order to ignite some sort of spark that could one day, hopefully change the world. But no, they rather give you a quick headline of it and then switch it to news on which celebrity is dating who or something else that's totally irrelevant to the problems of the world. I know I'm probably ranting a lot for your liking and the main question that's probably ringing in your minds is "how do we solve the problem?" Like I mentioned earlier, the problem is that most of us don't know we are under mental slavery and the ones that do can't face the truth. They're so far into it that they feel comfortable and have accepted it as it is. So I guess the only way to be truly free is not necessarily to isolate yourself from it all, but to open your eyes and ears to see and listen to the things you can't see and hear. At least once you know the truth it is now up to you to decide what to believe and where to go from there.

George Alexander is a young white man that grew up in a suburban neighborhood where everyone knew everyone. His life was amazing, he's been given everything he's ever dreamt of and he knew that no matter what, his family would make sure he's straight. Throughout George's life he's been oblivious to how people of color was being treated because he's never had to deal with such things in his life. He's never even been close enough to a person of color to know how they are and how they act. Out of instincts, he just knows that they're not as good as him and that they are beneath him. He treats them how he saw his parents treat them. One night, he falls asleep and he woke up a completely different person. He felt strange, he knew he wasn't in his own body anymore. Everything just felt wrong and it made him want to scream. He went into the bathroom and realized that he wasn't George Alexander anymore, he was a colored man. He tries to ignore what happened and go on about his life but he was hit hard with reality. He was no longer a white man that could do what he wants, he is a colored man that has to live a hard life and deal with racisms and hate. Later on, he comes to the realization that in order to go back to his old life he has to change his ways and project love onto others instead of hate. Read more to find out about his journey. Enjoy.

Rachel and her friends are average teenagers. Well at least they were before things started to twist out of control. All they wanted to do was get revenge. They didn't want their friends death to be in vain. Well because of that they're enemies of the state and are about to be serving a death penalty tomorrow for what they did. Who are they now ? What have they become? How did things get so bad? Well they're the Black Panthers, and they're teenage rebels.

African American men and women are out there doing nothing and just accepting or ignoring the comments and actions coming toward them. Even if it's not directed to you, it's has something to do with you.

This is a children's book about a little girl named Soraya living with her mother. Soraya wants to write a song but can't find the words so she goes on a search to find the write words to write a song and sing it to the world. What she discovers is that words are love and love heals the world.
