His activism, struggles with his own identity, family issues, and relationship issues take a toll on him daily and not even taking into account that he's in college! Jace continues to ask himself: Is it worth it? Can I do this? Will things ever change? Will I ever be loved? and the most important question.. Will I survive?

she wasn't always like this. there was a time when Storm was a bright little girl with real dreams. dreams that seemed accomplishable and glorious. those were encouragements her daddy used to give her late at nights before bed. he still gave her that tiny glimmer of hope, just through the specialized laminate material of the prison glass windows. Storm changed her name when she joined her gang. she didn't want to be Bellona. not only was it a ridiculous name it was not who she was. Bellona no longer existed, only Stormi. Bellona was a naive child whose reality of the world quickly changed growing up a Black girl. Bellona once believed the world was just and fair until it proved her wrong.. ultimately hardening her heart. now Stormi, that was a warrior. her fierceness was worshipped by nearly all of the Bronx. they knew a real one when they saw it. her pain was hidden very deeply, almost unattainable beneath a facade of emptiness. but of course, the wall will eventually be broken down. the cause of it? two friends of different but also not so different backgrounds. there is practically no actual representation of black culture on Wattpad. we aren't just a culture. or a statistic. once, this world was ruled by wealthy Black kings and queens. what happened? colonization and immoral conquering. but now? we're still royalty. we're human. we're Black with real actual stories and real problems we face worldwide, institutionalized, and in our own communities.

MEL·A·NIN. NOUN A dark brown to black pigment occurring in the hair, skin, and iris of the eye in people and animals. When we're little we don't realize the difference in each others skin color. White, black, light skinned and dark skinned. We just play tag and hide-and-seek without a worry in the world. It's not until we grow older that self hatred is influenced into our brains. Mary Jane is a girl with a big heart and a bright mind. She's one of the most loved girls in her neighborhood, but the love she has for herself slowly diminishes as she see's how her skin color has a big impact on her life. Follow her as she tries to invoke love into peoples hearts and learns more about who she is as a Dark Skinned woman.

Follow Nate , Yeri , Amitola , Liam, Jeremiah and Konane as they figure they're way through university and being young adults in the midst of life and what it has to offer (Topics such as Racism , colorism and anxiety are discussed in this book) Note : I wrote this book when my knowledge on racial topics and what not was really REALLY shallow. I plan to use this book as a guide for a let's say......reboot of this entire story line. So basically this is a snippet of what the actual book will be about and because of that , reading it and giving me feedback on what needs to be changed and how I can make it better would be highly appreciated! I still plan to complete these one too!
