Madison rips her wrist out of my hand turning to face me. It was like a part of me died when i see those crystal drops slide down her cheek. "No Reed i gave you too many chances as it is but you never took them it's over." She says walking into the rain to her car getting in, and starts the engine. "Madison," i say as she back into the street, "don't you dare walk away from us!!" I stepped into the drive through not caring about getting soaked. She will not leave me again. "Fuck this Reed how dare you tell me not to walk away! You never put my feelings first!" She screamed at me as she got out the car. Just as i am about to scream back at her, i hear tires screech into the distance. We both snap our heads up to see a car coming straight toward Madison, losing control of the car. "Madison get out the way!!!!" I screamed. But i was too late. That's when everything flashed before my eyes and I lost the one thing that i couldn't live without....

Random thought I have to myself

Every year the boy from the hospital finds her on her birthday. He just waits. For what, Treasure doesn’t want to know. She has scars from their first encounter: bite marks. He cursed her. All she ever wanted was normalcy: her parents, her best friend, Aidan, and school. He ruined everything. When he insists what he did was a gift, Treasure just wants him to stop tinseling. With everything going on she doesn’t need things talked up, she needs reality. While she fights to keep it together an enemy fights to tear it all apart. Her life isn’t the only one at stake. New rules are in play, and they have nothing against killing. Treasure may not like the curse, or the boy who cursed her, but she’s going to have to work with them if she intends to survive.
