In a quiet valley far from the rest of the world, sixteen-year-old Akiro lives a simple life with his grandmother. The village is peaceful, almost forgotten by time, its people surrounded by ancient forests, strange relics, and fading legends about a long-lost goddess known as Tokyo. To most, these stories are nothing more than myths. To Akiro, they are symbols, echoes of a past that no longer matters. Akiro does not believe in gods. He believes in nature. He avoids violence, refuses to harm living beings, and lives by a quiet moral code that sets him apart from the rest of the village. Animals seem to trust him instinctively, and the forest itself feels like his true home. But beneath the calm surface, something stirs. Old stories told by a drunken storyteller, a mysterious amulet, and the sudden appearance of a stranger named Hiori Sora begin to unravel the fragile peace of Akiro's world. Words he has never learned slip from his mouth. Emotions he cannot explain. grief, longing, and guilt-weigh on his heart as if they belong to another life. As the line between legend and reality slowly fades, Akiro is forced to confront a truth he never sought: the past may not be as distant as everyone believes. And some destinies, no matter how deeply buried, will always find their way back to the present.
