Everybody knows that the most beautiful city in the world is Paris.
City of Love, City of Lights, Paris is quite literally the centre of the world when it comes to anything beautiful and romantic.
In this city lives a young man, François Loisel, with hair as blond as wheat and eyes as clear as the summer sky. His smile is as warm as the sun and he wears his heart on his sleeve; his entire life is dedicated to making other people happy, no matter where they live of where they come from, no matter their age or their origins, no matter whether they're a man or a woman, or, quite frankly, anything really. Children and teenagers, adults and elders, everybody loves François and François loves everybody.
François has a secret, however, a secret that he'll never be able to tell anybody. Nightmares have been plaguing his nights and he wonders, really, he wonders what truly is the price of eternal happiness.
'The Phenomenal Life of François Loisel' is a short novel which could fall under the hispanic literary genre of 'magical realism'. This story deals with beauty, happiness, and, of course, Paris.
