It is also set in a post/AU 2000s where there has been a 3rd world war resulting from the cold war and most communities are small and spread out. Penelope is a young girl who has been convicted and tried as an adult for murder. But her story isn't what you think. She has escaped her sentence...almost. And because of the world war everything is different when she gets out. Note this story might include triggers I will always warn you and I do my best to generalize as not to "glorify" indecent and upsetting awful acts however my character Penelope has a rather tragic back story.
