I physically see his eyes darken, slightly, but he gives me another one of his smirks. "I know" he tilts his head with malicious writing all over him. He abruptly grabs my wrist, fast and sharp. Fuck how can I be so stupid. "What the fuck do you think you're doing" "Don't worry, sunshine, I'm just testing you." He narrows his eyes. "You're strong and I know you'll never give up. It just proves everything I need to know. "And what is that?" "It just shows how far I have to go to break you" The bell goes off. With that he lets go, grabbing his stuff he makes his way to leave. I keep eyes on him, I see the way he walks away, as if that didn't just happen. I sit still trying to decipher his words before I make my way to leave as well. ---------------------------- Alburny Academy, an institution for troubled teens and their violent and mischievous behaviors, rules are meant to be followed. But when kids beat the system and hope not to get caught, discipline becomes chaos and when there is chaos there is tension. Aurora Lizabeth Troy, or Rory Troy knew that getting into trouble was her second nature. And with moving from school to school, Rory knew from the very beginning she did not fit in with all the preppy girls in all the all girl private schools her parents wanted (forced) her to go. In all honesty she didn't try to fit in, but she did like to stir trouble every step she took. When Rory gets sent to Alburny Academy, she plans to lay low with her parents' wishes of making friends in the back of her head. But when trouble follows Rory's every footstep, she can't seem to get out of its reach easily. ---------------------------- I try to update regularly. *all photos and cover are from pinterest*

When Hwa Xiu Academy announces an overseas excursion to Japan, Wei Ling feels a surge of excitement - until the school reveals that the strict shared uniform system will apply for the entire trip. From the international airport to the red-eye flight and bustling streets of Tokyo, the girls must wear their heavily starched navy pinafores in full public view. In the sweltering summer heat, the uniform feels more exposing than ever. Yet in their hotel room each night, the intimate recirculation among roommates brings quiet comfort through familiar scents and shared vulnerability. The true turning point comes at Tokyo Disneyland. Expecting to stand out awkwardly among crowds in casual clothes, the girls are stunned to discover Japanese girls and young women happily renting pinafore-style uniforms - celebrating the very aesthetic Hwa Xiu girls wear daily. Through surprise, photo requests, and heartfelt conversations about youth and nostalgia, embarrassment slowly transforms into validation and pride. A heartfelt short story in the Shared Pinafore Series that follows the girls' journey from self-consciousness to deeper sisterhood, proving that their uniform is not merely a rule - but a meaningful symbol of discipline, belonging, and quiet beauty.

Raised to be holy. Born into something far more dangerous. Seventeen year old, Evienne Ellery spent her life preparing for heaven. Sent away to a secluded boarding school in the Swiss Alps by distant, unfeeling adoptive parents, she was raised by nuns and priests to be obedient, submissive and small. Behind stone chapels and cold classrooms, Evienne learned early that love was conditional, punishment was holy, and suffering was something to be endured quietly Her future was simple: be good, be faithful, and one day do her duty-marry a man who would secure her family's interests. Her life was planned. Controlled. Perfect. Until it wasn't. When everything she knows collapses, Evienne is torn from the only world she has ever known and sent to live with her biological family-six brothers who are loud, vulgar, violent, and unapologetically criminal. They don't pray. They don't obey. And they certainly don't believe in God the way she was taught. They believe in blood. With them, she learns the truth of who she really is: The lost princess of one of the most powerful mafia families in the world. Her brothers have been searching for her for years, and now that they've found her, they refuse to lose her again. In their world of power, crime, and betrayals, Evienne learns that love doesn't always look gentle-and protection often comes with a body count. But as old family feuds resurface, enemies close in, and the past she was hidden from begins to reach for her, Evienne is forced to confront an impossible question: What happens when the people you love will never be welcome in heaven-and you're no longer sure you want to go without them?

Aurelia and Elara - the youngest twins and the only daughters of the De Santis family - were once the heart of their household. Inseparable, gentle, adored. Where one went, the other followed. Their parents cherished them. Their brothers protected them. But everything shattered the night eight-year-old Elara was found bleeding on the floor... and Aurelia stood over her, a knife in her hand. Blamed for a crime she didn't commit, Aurelia was sent away to a strict boarding school for "troubled children." Her parents believed discipline would straighten her out. What they never imagined was the truth - the cruelty hidden behind the school's walls, the sadistic methods used to "teach," and the horrors Aurelia was forced to endure. Now sixteen, after a devastating incident inside that school, Aurelia is brought back to the De Santis mansion. But it's not a homecoming. It's an obligation. A reminder that she is unwanted, distrusted, and viewed as a threat by the very family she once loved. Follow Aurelia as she relearns how to exist in a home that no longer feels like hers. Uncover the truth of what happened that night, what really happened to her within the school, and whether the De Santis family will ever face the truth of what Aurelia had to endure and do to survive. ─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── "What should I ache for?
