People call me a genius. I think those people are dramatic, I'm not a genius I just like...knowledge- there is a big difference. But that is the reason why I got a scholarship to St. Dominion's Academy. Which I now know is some elite all boys school for rich people. On the other side of the country! Now we see the problems here: first- rich person is not an adjective I would use to describe myself at like all, second I am very much a girl thank you very much, and third since I've been homeschooling since ten and I am now fourteen, the last and only time I have ever spoken to a boy is when the guy by the paying counter asked if I wanted a receipt. But my parents were so fed up trying to find a higher enough education for me that when they got a call from this 'Elite Academy' who were willing to give me a scholarship they jumped at it and very much purposely ignored the fact that it was an all boys school, and didn't tell me until I was on the flight there. ( Which mind you, was a private jet because there is no other way to get onto school grounds.) Which is great and not scary at all! ( Note the sarcasm) -------- Cayley is a shy, innocent girl who hates confrontation, but is the furthest thing from a pushover. Despite being fourteen she got a scholarship from the St. Dominion's Academy and participates in the advanced classes. Kai is from the most powerful family in the country. He is cold, where she is warmth, he is dangerous where she is innocent, she is the light to his darkness. And once he meets his little angel he doesn't think he'll be able to let go. --------

"You're-- you're a... a..." he stammered, his face pale as he struggled to speak. "A girl," Kayla finished flatly, rolling her eyes. * Nathan Kingston seems to have it all. He's the newest star player at St. Thomas Academy, an elite all-boys private school. Nathan is charming, confident, devilishly handsome, and dangerously talented on the ice. But there's one problem. Behind the flawless smile and perfect facade. Nathan is a girl-Kayla Kingston-living under the stolen identity of her dead brother. Keeping her secret at an all-boys school is hard enough. But then there's Louis Auclair. Team captain, top student, and the one person who sees through the cracks. Louis knows something isn't right. And as his suspicions grow, Kayla finds herself torn between protecting her identity and facing the boy who could expose her... or destroy her first. Because in a school built on reputation, talent and secrets. One wrong move could mean the end of everything she's fought for.

Hayden Jones didn't mean to blow up her high school gym. She just meant to graffiti it. Now she's got a felony and a one-way ticket to some glorified boarding school in the Pacific Northwest. Caldwell Academy is not a fresh start. It's a reform school with nice pamphlets and a fountain and a judge's order keeping her here. The kind of place where everyone's got a story they don't tell and a reason they can't leave. She wasn't planning on making friends. She definitely wasn't planning on Elwood Hall and a bed six feet from a boy who doesn't smile, doesn't talk, and looks at her like she's a problem he didn't ask for. She should've left it at that. She should've left a lot of things at that. Because Caldwell has rules. And the thing about Hayden Jones is she's never met one she wouldn't break - even the ones that exist to protect her.

Thirty years after the world was remade, faith governs what remains of humanity. In a carefully reconstructed society where nothing is allowed to fall out of order, Sister Elara Veyne is preparing to take her vows. Raised in a missionary academy, she has been taught that the Great Calamity was ended by divine will, that corruption was purged, and that the world now stands under the protection of Heaven. But Elara has always seen what others do not. Her dreams are not visions of salvation. They are fragments of something buried. A past that does not align with what she has been taught. A presence that watches from beyond reality itself. When a strange affliction begins to spread through the nearby city, turning people into grotesque, night bound creatures that devour flesh and identity alike, the Church insists it is a test of faith. Elara knows it is something worse. The corruption is evolving. Learning. Remembering. And it is no longer alone. When a half elf stranger appears at the academy gates, carrying knowledge he should not possess and a connection to her dreams that cannot be denied, Elara is forced to confront a truth that threatens everything she believes. The world was not saved. It was rewritten. And something has begun to undo the edit. As reality itself starts to fracture, Elara and the stranger must uncover the truth behind the new corruption, the rising power in the underworld, and the entity now stirring beneath existence itself. Because this time, the threat is not trying to destroy the world. It is trying to replace it.

"Friends? Dude, why would I be friends with you? Looking all stiff like that-I don't even know you!" Before Yosuke could react, quick fingers were at his waist, yanking his carefully tucked shirt free. ***
