Nick Exámenes, tal vez un trago después de la universidad, luego a casa. Despertar al amanecer, un entrenamiento matutino. Todo en su vida seguía una rutina perfecta, una armonía en la que Nicholas Lancaster había vivido desde que tenía memoria. Una mujer de provincias se casa con un Obispo anglicano, después de años de aburrimiento, se divorcia y se traslada a vivir a una gran ciudad del Mediterráneo, donde va a descubrir el mundo de la bohemia que le hará tocar el cielo, un cáncer de mama, amenaza con arrastrarla al abismo, pero se sube al caballo de la aventura y da rienda suelta a su imaginación para seguir siendo feliz.
