Fluttershy is still Flutterbat but only turns into her at night, she turns into her willingly (unlike what happened in the "bats!" where Twilight's spell backfired on Fluttershy) anyway she does this so her friends wouldn't worry about her, because if they did know you got a another "remove the spell" situation on your hooves, one night she's flying around & eating apples like usual, but then she hears screaming & flies over to see what it was, she found out she wasn't the only one that was hiding something from her friends............

"Sometimes...you can't save everyone..." I nodded my head to show that I understood and crossed my arms, "But I will," The world shattered before my eyes...that...day. I didn't see it coming...I never could. It seemed to be one unfortunate event after the next. But when I saw him like that...the sense that I couldn't help...it made my chest hurt... I still carry guilt from so many years ago. The mistakes I made catching up to me, running faster by the minute. I knew one day they'd come back...I knew that HE'D come back...but the way he did...it made consciousness slip away from me...

Starting college, shy and sensitive, was a tough thing to go through. He had no friends in the new area and he was scared for his life, leaving everything he knew behind. He questioned every decision he made, including personal ones. But when he met his roommate, everything took a huge U turn.
