THIS BOOK HAS SAD DEATHS! My mother had received the letter while we were in the woods. When we returned she read it aloud: "A new island attraction is in the making and we are inviting three people from your household to be the first among others to test it out. Note that if you refuse you will be committing treason which is punishable in many ways, the most popular is being death. The boat will leave soon and we urge you to be on it. If you're not, we will know." So who's going? I'll tell you who: Me. What I will witness on this island is nothing that I could have ever imagined.

Cass was on a yachting trip with some family friends, trying to enjoy herself despite the circumstances that brought her there. A poorly-timed storm strands her on a seemingly uninhabited island, where she finds an unexpected companion... God help me, I actually put effort into this. Concrit welcome, updates sporadically.

This is an old short story--in fact, I believe it's one of the first I ever wrote. It's some good old fashioned sword and sorcery, folks. Dwarves, elves, magic, monsters... they're all here! Anyway, this little tale was a heck of a lot of fun to write, and reading it again brings back fond memories of a younger, but still extremely nerdy me, so I hope you enjoy!
