A Nuyorican teen reluctantly transforms into a Mickey Rican with the help of her best friend, her family, and a little bit of brujeria. --- In 1987, Desiree Sanchez is a Model Rican in the eyes of The Parents: She won first place in the eighth grade Math Fair, never skips summer band camp to make out with Sky Bowman, gets good grades, washes all the dishes after dinner, and blends in easily with the White neighbors of their new house in SnOrlando, Florida. By 1989, Desiree is trying so hard to fit in to her new Orlando world, she sneaks out in the middle of the night and jumps into a taxi cab to the prettier, more tree-lined cobblestone streets where Sky Bowman lives. Little does she know she's about to embark on an adventure that defies time and space.

Best friends. A kiss. And a silence that says too much.

It's just another trip to Puerto Rico, Shariah. Nothing is going to happen. And Mom said this festival is going to be fun, not frightening. I don't know why I'm so nervous. God, I hope nothing goes wrong. "You might need some aftershave, Shariah, for self defense." My mom had said to me. And that's something I didn't realize that I would need. I should've just taken the stinking Aftershave. Maybe I would not have my first kiss stolen from some random, masked, tall, light brown eyed, tanned skin, Boricua Guy.

Slam poetry, this is a letter for all those directors who treat actors who have an accent like if they had a disability, because they aren't American enough. This poem was inspired in a Puerto Rican actress who was always taught she had a very rough accent for directors in the East coast but in the West Coast didn't.

This story was born out of a shower thought I had after thinking what it would be like if the characters from my favorite anime visited my homeland. Would they be interested in the country? Would they encounter trouble? How could I make it make sense within the narrative and lore of the original story? Thus comes Gang-Stars In PR. A story of what happens when Giorno and his team have a nice vacation getaway from the streets of Italy to the beaches of Puerto Rico. I've tried my best to explain the references to the Puerto Rican culture as simply as possible so that non-natives can also enjoy the story, but if you feel curious about a concept or you didn't quite understand it, leave it in the comments and I'll gladly explain.
