Finding in a book, Painted Pencil, Peace Trotter, and Blue Heart (along with Mix Tape, Atari, and Sturdy Hoof) discover an ancient King that once ruled over Equestria. The King preformed genocide on millions of ponies, and took no interest in sparing lives. Deep within the EverFree his remains lie in a cave, containing an altar. Setting out to find the long dead monarch, the six ponies are unexpectedly split up, and end up coming across three different artifacts. Once coming back together again at the cave with the altar, the ponies talk on their findings. But the actions that soon follow accidentally unleash the cruel creature into their world. The King's past actions soon become a reality. Power, enslavement, and death take over Equestria under the Kings rule. Lives will be lost, hearts will be shattered, cities burned until they are but ash, and a king wishing to hold and control the world. Will these six friends be able to stop this cruel monster, or will they die trying?
