Shadow-Dragon02
She gave a bracelet to the man who saved her life-
and never thought she'd see it again.
Years later, Arielle Solis is spending the summer working at a luxury beach resort, delivering drinks across sunlit waves and trying not to linger in memories that never quite faded.
Until she sees it.
Faded. Familiar. Wrapped around the wrist of a quiet, infuriating stranger who refuses to give it back.
Rowan.
He won't explain why he has it. He won't take it off. And he definitely won't give it back.
And Arielle? She refuses to stop asking.
But the bracelet isn't the only mystery.
Tucked away in a forgotten corner of the resort, Arielle finds a handwritten list-softened with age, filled with small, beautiful, unfinished wishes. Some simple. Some impossible. All of them left undone.
She doesn't know who wrote it. Doesn't know why it was abandoned. But something about it feels... important.
Like it mattered to someone. Like it still does.
So she makes a decision she doesn't think too hard about: She's going to finish it.
For whoever wrote it. For whatever reason it was left behind. Because maybe, somehow, it would make them happy. Even if she never meets them. Even if it's already too late.
And somehow, Rowan gets pulled into it.
Reluctantly. Irritatingly. Constantly arguing with her every step of the way-but never quite walking away.
What begins as a forced partnership turns into something softer. Quieter. Dangerous in a way neither of them expected.
Because the more they follow the list, the more the lines begin to blur-between past and present, between memory and meaning... and between who the bracelet belonged to, and why Rowan refuses to let it go.
But summer doesn't last forever. And when it ends, Arielle will have to decide what she's willing to let go of...and Rowan will have to decide what he's finally ready to give away.
