At eighteen years old, Harry Henmings never imagined that his life would change overnight.
As the younger brother of Luke Hemmings, Harry has always had his brother by his side. But when Harry discovers that he's pregnant, everything he thought he knew about his future suddenly changes. What should have been a time of excitement quickly becomes frightening when his boyfriend and the baby's other parent decides he doesn't want to be involved and leaves Harry to face the pregnancy alone.
With his future uncertain and his heart broken, Harry has to learn how to navigate pregnancy while still being only eighteen. Between doctor's appointments, ultrasounds, preparing for the baby, and dealing with the emotional aftermath of his breakup, Harry begins to wonder if he's truly ready to become a parent.
Luckily, Harry doesn't have to face it alone.
Luke refuses to let his younger brother go through the experience by himself. With his family and friends supporting him, Harry slowly begins to understand that becoming a parent doesn't mean giving up on his dreams. It simply means his life is going to look different than he originally imagined.
And just when Harry thinks love is something he can no longer trust, someone unexpected enters his life.
As Harry leans to heal, open his heart again, and prepare for the arrival of his baby, he discovers something he never expected: sometimes the life you didn't plan can become the life you wouldn't trade for anything.
He wasn't ready for pregnancy.
He wasn't ready to be left behind.
But he was ready to love the little person who changed everything.
