In Elmore, Pomni, Jax, Zooble, Ragatha, Gangle, and Kinger enroll at Elmore Junior High and meet a blue cat with a big head named Gumball and his pet fish/brother Darwin, together, the Circus gang learn the ins and outs of Elmore and get into wacky hijinks and shenanigans! Will Gumball ever win the affections of Penny? How will Darwin react when Banana Joe chews up his pen? And what happens when Gumball and Darwin get their first cell phone? Will Jax learn to stop being an absolute (BOINK!)head? This is an alternate universe story where Caine and Bubble get dragged into the cellar of abstractions while locking Kaufmo away. Now, with no Ringmaster, the digital crew must learn to cope with their new environment, especially Pomni, who had just joined shortly before Caine's disappearance. But dealing with his absence won't be the worst of their problems. Join them in a frenzy-filled universe to make sense of the new circus, and see them discover how it all starts falling apart. Every human that enters this virtual world is not only forever trapped in their digital avatars, but face the risk of "Abstraction": the moment when someone finally reaches their breaking point from the insanity of their eternal imprisonment. Join Barbie and the others as they struggle to survive and escape their new home with the threat of insanity looming over their shoulders, along with something far more sinister working behind the scenes of the program trapping them. ...but it looks like Barbie is not who...or rather, WHAT she appears to be. For a lot of them they have a bad backstory and are traumatized so they went into hiding because having this ability isn't normal. In fact a handful of them went to 'facilities' and are never heard from again. Those people refer to themselves as 'inside' and the people who live free from them are 'outside' people. Elsie Kirigaya and 3 of her friends (Kylie, Cassadie and Cersie) have oddities and are living on the 'outside'. At first they lived a 'normal' life. That was until the summer before college Elsie and her friends went on a life changing adventure thanks to her ex-girlfriend (not by choice) named Kylie. They go to two different 'facilities' and help the 'inside' escape while trying to stop the 'President' of the facilities named Damian Lord. He has an evil plan for the ones he captured. All while still finding their feelings for one another. Will they (Kylie, Elsie, Cassadie and Cersie and all of the people they helped rescue from both facilities) be able to catch and stop Damian Lord? What will happen with Kylie and Elsie? Will they get back together or be broken up forever?

This is an AU that explores what happens after Claire's death in a disturbing, Insanity way with broken characters and a confusing story of what's going on but it happens with barely any explanation until later in the book. If you really know how to read and get with the lore then this book is much better. This is pretty much for mature people in the fan base.
