Lying is a survival skill. Sometimes, lying is a necessity, if not just a mere way to sugarcoat the unpleasant, dodge the unnecessary, and temporarily keep someone or something at bay. WARNING: This book is poorly written and I don't know why it has so many reads, but by all means - go for it. Remi was a selfless, shy, girl who had a telepathic relationship of which she didn't know anything about with her best friend, and a mysterious "boyfriend". Sadly she is to kill one of them. But which one would she kill? Which one could she kill? This might surprise you. She didn't know she was adopted until a charismatic stranger told her accidentally. So the one that winds up DEAD by her hand is actually a blood relative. If she murders her boyfriend and he turned out to be her relative, well that is just disgustingly incestuous, isn't it- I mean, ew? If its her best friend, then she'll have that burden on heart for the rest of her life. She doesn't know who or what she is becoming nor whom or what she will be. THE SEQUEL IS BETTER I PROMISE!
