The stars and moon were blurred from the tears that dared to fall from his eyes. "And what would that be?" Luke scoffed from the other end of the phone. He sounded angry, but still somehow used the soft tone of voice that he always had while talking to Michael. "You fell in love with me." He let out the words quickly, not wanting to change his mind. As soon as the words slipped from his mouth, he pulled the phone away from his ear, ending the call and throwing it across the room. He instantly fell to the floor, hot tears uncontrollably streaming down his face. "I just can't love you back."
