Summer Serenade
Jia Viviene Chen, was born into privilege. A political dynasty backs her every move, and like a modern-day princess, she always gets what she wants. Maarte, matapobre, selfish-she grew up spoiled by wealth and power, shielded from the consequences of her actions.
Keira Collete Saito, lives a very different life. Raised by her hardworking father, Tadashi, alongside her younger sister Sayaka, she knows the value of perseverance. With little but love and grit, Keira and Sayaka never take anything for granted. Their shared dream is music-to form a band and touch lives with their songs. Often, the sisters busk on street corners, pouring their hearts into performances that bring joy to strangers.
But one cruel summer changes everything. Jia, reckless and drunk behind the wheel, slams her car into Keira and Sayaka as they finish a night of busking. Both sisters are left injured, but Sayaka suffers the most-her body broken, her hearing lost forever.
Jia, protected by her family's political power, escapes justice. Yet the damage is irreversible. Keira blames herself for not protecting her sister, while Sayaka struggles to face a world of silence. Their music, once their bond and dream, is shattered.
Now, Keira must decide whether to let tragedy break her-or to fight for her sister, their dream, and justice against the girl who took it all away.
