Erkenci Kus has proven to be an epic love story. It is a Lovestory that has a phenomenal worldwide audience that is fiercely loyal. Can is a character associated with an Alabross bird that settles in the Galapagos Islands. He is a world-famous photographer who travels to dangerous locations and a free spirit. He is rich, successful, handsome, aloof and a loner with a highly guarded heart. Sanem is a young, sheltered girl with a photographic memory, a quick wit, a wild spirit with a desire to break out of her traditional way of life. Her greatest desire is to move to the Galapagos and write her love stories. The series has taken us through every trial and obstacle imaginable. The lastest being a terrifying car crash that has left Can without his memory and Sanem alone in the epic love they shared. Now, afraid for her sanity, she is leaving Istanbul behind and going to live her dreams in the Galapagos. Will Can let her go and continue his life free of the memories they shared or does his heart call him into action regardless of what his mind can remember. Will love conquer all, after all?

This is a take on a letter Sanem would write to Can when he went to the Balkans.

Can tells Sanem that he is leaving and she accepts his decision, but not before she gives him a dose of reality. But certain events later unfold and put Can and Sanem back in each other's lives. Can Can forgive Sanem? But even more importantly, can Sanem forgive Can?

This is part 2 of " Is This the Real Thing." Can and Sanem had found each other, and a love that was bound to be. They would make their life become as one, whether their families liked it or not. This could prove to be a test of their desire to love and live together, or except what traditions and society would have them do.

Can had have never given a thought to getting married. Always avoiding the subject , even though he was being pushed by his mother at ever chance she got. Sanem's sister prayed that her she would find her ideal partner and settle down. A chance encounter left them with a bond that unites some people for life. In the hectic life's of a Police Officer and a reporter, can these two strangers finally find solace with each other after all the up's and downs.

Ok, on the EK for English Speakers Facebook group, I posted a short snippet in reaction to the end of episode 41 where it ends with Can going into the fire. I'm copying it here and am working on expanding it a bit further beyond just our two star crossed lovers.

Series of EK One Shots if Sanem had never accepted the deal Emre offered and she had been free to love Can. She is still naïve, inexperienced, and totally clueless at the possibility of Can loving her. There is no Sanem being dumb and humiliating herself here. I am no writer, not even an English speaker by birth but love this couple. I own no rights to them!!

A fairytale happening in real life

Inspired by Turkish actor Can Yaman's 2018-2019 series "Erkenci Kus", this story is the continuation of chapters from "If Only....I Could Forgive Myself " written by Virginia Dewberry. Can Yaman's character Can Divit has brought Sanem Aydin (Demet Ozdemir's character) from Chania back home to Istanbul. They have forgiven each other and themselves and are excited to begin their fairy tale life together. However, other people in their lives seem destined to interfere with their happiness.

A quick one shot - not even sure it will classify as a whole story- just my version of the final scene of 49 at the rocks.
