The moment he had locked the door he asked me: "Max, what the fuck happend to you?" "My dad.", I calmly replied. "Jezus, Max! Two teammates, always side by side but never too close. One carries their pain in silence, the other sees more than they let on. The signs are there- sleepless nights, skipped meals, hidden scars, eyes that speak what words won't. It's in the smallest things. A hand brushing too quickly. A quiet "you, okay?" that gets no answer. A look that lingers just a second too long. Neither says anything, and maybe they never will. Lando, unable to sleep, decides to sit near the lake to enjoy the silence of the night. Carlos, meanwhile, has other ideas in mind and takes advantage of being alone with the younger man to make him fall for him.

Lando is a freshman at a university mostly abandoned by local funding. After he is forced to change his major yet again, he is placed into a coding class where he soon realizes he is in way over his head. His only asylum from the threat of failing his first ever class is the parking lot where he can hotbox with his roommate Max. When his school assigned tutor blows up on Lando for arriving to lessons high, Lando does whatever he can to earn the Spanish upperclassman's trust back. And maybe get him a little high in the process. NOTE: it's just me writing and editing so if there's any errors or typos just let me know and I'll fix them!!!
