when you're viewed as a freak on a land of freaks, something must be deeply wrong with you. The very first day her mother let her out of her old, declining tower, on her 10th birthday, she was ecstatic to finally go out and see the isle, but when she was met with the torments of other kids and even grown men and women -Juliana knew she didn't belong on the Isle.
