But beneath the rides and neon lies something older. When a chance encounter brings six unlikely friends together, they stumble into a mystery involving disappearances, forgotten tunnels, and secrets buried beneath the tide. But when they find a strange flyer for a one-night only carnival, curiosity wins out over common sense. The fair isn't on any map. No one in town has ever seen it. And yet... by Halloween night, the Ferris wheel is glowing on the horizon, and old music is drifting through the cold autumn air. What begins as a night of rides and cheap thrills turns into something far darker. The games aren't fair, the prizes aren't prizes, and the smiling workers seem to know more about the friends than they should. Whispers of unexplained disappearances trace back to the 1930s. And as secrets unravel, the group realizes that not everyone came to Harrow's Fair by accident - and not everyone will leave. In a place where the line between attraction and nightmare blurs, survival may depend on trusting the very person you're afraid of.

the circus was in town, of course i had to go! little did i know what would happen next (this is my first story so im sure there will be grammar mistakes)

Welcome to a world of blood and gore, with demons and vampires and angels galore... The flu had always been a penetrable foe in the past, but the latest strain came from somewhere else. It wiped out 99% of the world's human population, leaving the remaining 1% to either drown in misery or find new hope in narcissism. Twenty years later, Elijah falls into the latter category. Having discovered that he, and only he, has the ability to draw demons out of the Possessed, he decides that he must have been chosen to lead the 'new world.' However, his attempts to bring the 'chosen few' under his wing do not go as well as he hopes. Lindsey, on the other hand, falls into a category of his own. As a vampire, death is no stranger, but given the lack of newly deads to choose from after the post-Flu population drop, avoiding starvation has become a struggle. He survives by sleeping through his days, but the arrival of a past enemy and a less-than-wise decision to help a murderer force him back onto the road. Unfortunately, he quickly discovers that the new world does not follow the same logic that it did before. TL;DR - Most of the world died from a flu pandemic so there's a post-apocalyptic type situation where demons possess people.

Ryou has been bullied all his life, whether it be from upperclassmen to people who thought were friends, but what will happen when one day they go a little too far an ryou finds himself in an abandoned carnival that isn't as abandoned as he thought. This will have just a small amount of thiefshipping mentioned and a slight amount of one-sided angstshipping, it'll mainly focus on deathshipping though because I'm Yu-gi-oh trash. Seriously, if it was a trash can I'd definitely be in there but by all means you should still read this story because why not? Also I drew the cover photo, it was a quick sketch soooo...sorry if it sucks
