Castiel never liked people, and although he has nothing against his college room mate Dean personally, he finds that Dean is no exception. But Dean seems to like Cas like no one ever has before, and Cas is starting to think maybe people aren't all bad.

Cas is sleepy. Dean is thoughtful. - I wrote this pretty late, but I feel like it turned out insanely well. The word count is 536. It is, in fact, a Destiel oneshot. However, I gave it to a friend to proofread and she has repeatedly asked (see: begged) for a sequel involving Dean proposing to Cas. It may happen.

Dean Winchester's fiance and true love, Castiel, has been kidnapped by Hallas and held hostage. the Winchesters' first plan to get Cas back failed and now the court of Hallas has vanished, taking Cas with them. Just when Dean thinks it can't get any worse, Castiel's brother shows up and says that if Cas isn't returned to them soon, Terren will be fighting a war on two fronts. Now Dean has no choice but to get help from the person who started it all. But he would do anything to get Cas back. If Cas is even still alive...
