Nesta desperately struggles to trust him while protecting her own heart but where must she draw the line between love and trust? Elain is focusing on recovering from her experience with war and the Cauldron and finds healing in looking ahead, but she is not the only one looking ahead: Azriel and Lucien, her mate, are both pursing a spot in her future. When circumstances change Elain is forced to sort through her feelings and quickly and answer the question: Lucien or Azriel? or risk losing them both. Amren has never been used to this form of herself. She has always had power settled beneath her skin but she gave all that up to spend the rest of eternity with her true family in the Night Court. She knew that her power was too much for her to control but what she didn't know is how helpless she would feel without it. Unable to cope with this change she pushes herself to her breaking points to try to discover her new power as part of the High Fae. Will she be able to discover her new powers and prosper or tear herself apart trying?

Back in 2020 I guess I had this idea to rewrite the whole Shrek movie but with characters from A Court of Thorns and Roses with Cassian playing Shrek but I completely forgot about it and have no desire to finish it, but I thought I'd publish the first chapter just because I think it's funny. I had the second chapter labeled "Lord Tamlin", so I guess he was going to play Farquaad, but I never wrote anything for it. Also, the cover photo has no significance, it's just something I had on my phone. Doesn't it look like a turtle or frog?
