Pushing me even further, he wiped his thumb along the corner of his mouth that had been smudged with a little of my shimmery, clear lip gloss. His eyes narrowed at me as his thumb slowly traveled across his bottom lip. Despite my annoyance, my lips parted as I watched his movement. His gaze was unnerving. He looked at his thumb for a moment, then licked it to my astonishment. He bit the corner of his lip and smirked as he looked up in thought. After a second, his eyes flicked back to mine. "Melon?" He questioned. Heat crept up my neck, my cheeks and ears on fire. His eyes darkened. If he was referring to the flavor of my lip gloss... He was correct.
