With their young son Milo caught in the crossfire, the estranged parents are forced to present a united front for his sake. As Nathan grapples with his impending death, he becomes wary of Ella's new boyfriend, Victor Roy, whom he views as a potential replacement. However, as tensions rise and Nathan's health declines, an unexpected alliance forms between the two men, driven by their shared devotion to Milo. In a poignant journey of forgiveness and acceptance, Nathan must confront his deepest fears and ultimately come to terms with the legacy he will leave behind, questioning whether he can allow Victor to step into the fatherly role he may no longer fulfill. Ellie, undergoing chemotherapy and always tired, endlessly hopes to leave her bare, stuffy hospital room and go out into the colorful outside world. Can Parker find a way to brighten her life a little more? *WORD COUNT INFO: Please know that while the word count of my story is 494, the word counter most likely says otherwise because of the hyphens and/or divider in the story. (It's reading the divider as 3 words and the 2 hyphens as individual words.) My word count (494) excludes those elements, but even with those elements included the word count is 500 and/or under. Thank you! :)

UPDATED ONCE PER WEEK, SO BE SURE TO CHECK BACK This is my life. It might seem a bit dramatic to be so; but it is the truth. I have gone through some ordeals throughout my relatively short life span. There is a beginning and a middle. Although, as far as I know, there is no end that is soon to come. WARNING: Box of tissues may be required for both laughter and what I like to call "real tears".

Asher Atkins doesn't know how in the world he got accepted at Cali University. It's not like his GPA is something to brag about. And the fact that he has cancer is also a taboo subject. His second year of college was a rather hard hit. He needs a miracle and not just any miracle, he needs healing. One day, a particular girl catches his attention, her fire red hair and gray eyes are nothing like he'd seen before. One thing that surprises him is that everytime he talks to her, she always ends up running away. Is his cancer starting to scare people away too?
