She carries herself like someone who has more waiting for her than just the job, and Tim tells himself he doesn't need to know what that is. Based on The Rookie but instead of meeting at the LAPD, they meet in high school. From my most recent poll, this seemed to be in favour for the next story so I hope you like it! Switching up the writing style as it took longer stating who is speaking, hope it is obvious who is talking, but it is more of a novel style :)

I opened it and looked one last time at the only love of my life. L: "Don't go..." And the door shut. And I woke up again. Again. For half a year now. The same dream. Over and over. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at the clock. 3 a.m. I didn't even need to check, because that's the usual time. I hugged the pillow that had his T-shirt on it. The T-shirt that no longer smelled like him. The T-shirt that was now full of my tears. The T-shirt that now means everything to me.

This is kind of like a second book to my Chenford stories. Same characters, same love, just a new place for more one-shots and moments with them.
