We met at the top of the building I was sitting reading a book but then you came near me and held a necklace in your hand and I just stared at it. Cherie Addilyn Taylor is a popular girl in school everyone wants to be her friend because she's friendly to anyone. She wants to know what love is. She knows a little bit about how love works but she doesn't want to be in a relationship because her relationship in middle school was not quite well. So she decided not to love for a while. Ethan has loved Cherie since they were little kids to the time they grew up. But Cherie had to go to Burgess so Ethan was left behind he could not live without her and realized that he loved her so he followed her to Burgess to tell her how he felt. Daniel is a guy who has a crush on Cherie but is too shy to admit his feelings for her he had a crush on her from the moment he saw her. One day when they were on the rooftop Cherie ran to Daniel and accidentally slipped now Cherie was on the edge of the building. Daniel tried to save Cherie but it was too late his hand was slipping from his grip. Cherie fell from the building. Daniel blamed himself for that incident years ago. So he prayed to the skies that Cherie would wake up. Years later. Daniel's wish was granted but it will cost him. Cherie had forgotten all about him. All she remembers is Ethan and their childhood and their memory in HS. Daniel promised himself that he would not bother Cherie anymore. But will he be able to keep his promise and stay away from her? Will Cherie remember the guy she used to like or will it be the end of their love story? Sequel: The Safe Side.
